Bead Journal progress

There is not a lot of beading left to do on this piece.  Some star sequins are definitely going to be included.  This piece feels light and fun to me and I quite like it.  What a great feeling.  Do you think one likes their art more when you have grown to love and accept yourself more?

    There are so many fields of different colours, and now structure, because of the beads. Great work that you have all the right to be proud of.
    Yes, I think we see our work better the more we have grown as a person. We have learned to love and accept our own efforts, can see what might be right and wrong about it and still like it.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
