Work in Progress Wednesday

My bead journal for July is a bit of an odd combination but I think it works.  I am so happy to have finally come up with a way to use the piece of indigo dyed cotton that was gifted to me.  Even though the tatted doily is a failed experiment with surface design I love the riot of colour.  The beading isn't exceptional but good enough.  This will eventually be quilted.

    I love it, it’s delightful, charming, quirky, eye catching, and just plain delightful, and works. I Love it. You have set my motivation going on a large pile of dollies of my mums, aunts, and grandmothers. Thanks so much for the inspiration. Cheers Glenda

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
