Work in Progress Wednesday

My August bead journal is finished.  This one is quite different from what I have done in the past for my bead journals.  It was really enjoyable to do.  I plan to mount this on black fabric and quilt along the black lines.

    I love the black background idea. That will really make these pretty colors pop!

    Oh, how clever of you to use star shaped sequins for the sky! A black frame will make the scene even more vivid.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
