Work in Progress Wednesday

It was so fun to play with some of the fancy stitches on my beautiful sewing machine.  Now I am adding some hand stitch to this piece.  I hand dyed the silk and it is lovely to stitch into it.  There is a lot of metallic thread on this piece so I am debating as to whether or not to add beads.

    Angela it reminds me of the coral around some of the island off the Great Barrier Reef here were I live. Add the beads for sunlight bubbles? Its going to be a lovely wall art. Cheers Glenda

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
