Small progress

Well, this is supposed to be my bead journal for September but it has been slow going.  I hope to finish it by the end of October.  However, there is a lot going on right now.  I am working on two installations for 2019 and an artist in residence proposal.  So many arty fun things in my life!  I refuse to stress about this bead project.  It will get done when it gets done.

    This kind of design it time-consuming; as soon as you add one bead you have to add at least five more to make the balance! It is looking good so take your time.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
