Work in Progress Wednesday

I was thinking of doing a beaded motif on this CQ block but the end of the month is not far away.  I think the beading would take more time than I have.  I have placed this butterfly on the block and I am debating using it.  I think I like it and will stitch it down.  Of course, I will still add some beads, just not a whole motif.  Not much progress has been made on this block.  Two installations and a sunny holiday have messed with time for stitching.

    Aren't you sometimes using glue for beading? That would save you time...

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
