Work in Progress Wednesday

This piece I started as part of my guild challenge.  I lost interest in it for that challenge and ended doing something else.  I resurrected it for my January bead journal project.  I needed a beading project that wasn't overly time consuming.  I am happy that I was able to get it finished before the month ended.  It is definitely different from my usual beading.  It was interesting to introduce cellophane and make it more mixed media.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
