Water

I have been wanting to start a new series ever since I did my water sinchie for the guild challenge.  Water is already a prominent theme in my artwork but I feel the need to explore it even further.  I am planning to keep it to the six inch square size and have cut up a bunch of fabric experiments to be the base.  Some I have sewn together and plan to do more that way.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
