Water

The base is a piece of sheer blue fabric.  I adhered bits, pieces and scraps to it with a watered down glue mixture.  I stitched on the sea horse charm.  This piece is six inches square.

    The use of watered down glue to layer bits and pieces is new to me. Is that where the sheen comes from?

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
