Take a Stitch Tuesday


Sharon B challenged us with the Beaded Fern stitch and the Zig Zag Coral stitch this week.  It has been a while since I have had the time or inclination to participate but both stitches appealed to me today.  It was lovely to have the time to stitch both of them.  The beaded Fern stitch works perfectly with my July bead journal.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
