Water

My dear sister recently bought Dimensional Cloth and recommended it to me.  I haven't purchased it yet but the cover reminded me of an experiment I tried years ago.  Using a polyester fabric I tied marbles into it.  I boiled it for I don't remember how long.  Once cooled and the marbles removed the cloth retained that shape.  Pretty cool.  I decided it was time to use that experiment and incorporated it into this week's water experiment.  Love the dimension!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
