Water

Does this look watery?  I am not totally sure but I do like it.  This piece is really textured.  I started with some gesso on fabric.  I then added a layer of paper towel that had lots of colour as I had used it to clean up.  There was lonely blob of green colour that stood out too much so I added more green ink.  I also added some shimmer with Pearl Ex.  Some stitching or beading could be interesting on this piece but I think it would be absolutely miserable to stitch through it.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
