I decided to play with making silk paper again. This piece is fairly large for me sized at 22' x 26'. I had fun adding odd bit of thread, yarns and something called angel wings. A friend had given me the angel wings. They are meant to be included when you make your own paper. I think they are a flower petal, possibly. Some of the colour ran and I quite like it. It gives it a painterly effect. I am wanting to add some stitching and possibly beading to this. I plan to incorporate it into a large textile book.

I’ve never tried the process but you have reminded me of one of my UFO’s ..... must search for it, thank you for inspiring me to go back to my old project!
