Water

I am still playing with my water experiments.  Possibly this piece could use more work.  It is rather simple but not every piece has to be a star.  I did a surface treatment on sheer fabric, pulled some threads to fray that sheer fabric and stitched to the velvet base.  I also added some beading.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
