Work in Progress Wednesday

Work in progress indeed.  Slow progress.  I find myself just wanting to zone out and not with stitching right now.  The drama of Christmas this year has been so much and I am oh so tired of it.  Normally, the stitching would feel soothing to me.  I have spent more time with my sketchbooks of late.  I am not completely sure why.   I wonder if I will be able to get this block done by the end of the month.  I just can't find the energy to stress about it.  What will be, will be.

    December is a month of many distractions. Let's yourself off the hook and relax. It IS already a lovely piece and when you find the time and energy to complete it will be even lovelier.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
