Work in Progress Wednesday

My December crazy quilt block is what I am calling done.  I think it could use a bit more stitching but not right now.  I will likely return to it at some point in the New Year.  I have had a lot of joy stitching on this.  The texture the painted lace adds is quite interesting to me.  This technique definitely requires more exploration.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
