Photography

More street art from Playa del Carmen, Mexico.  There were many murals throughout the city.  What a joy to see art being appreciated on a large scale.  I was disappointed to learn that many times the artists were not compensated for their work.  They were given the materials to use so that is at least something.

    It is sad that the artists weren't compensated for their work. I am glad to hear they were given the materials though; that helps. Thank you for sharing this gorgeous mural on your blog!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
