Small Collage

Okay, these mixed-media collages are a lot of fun to create.  I was going through some random bits and the green/gold silk scrap had a gold star sitting on top it.  It spoke to me and was the start of this collage.  The most fun part for me is picking out the words to create found poetry.  I think this will be a great addition to my fabric book.

    I love that style you're up to. Finding words for poetry and associating fabric and paper together. Keep going, there are discoveries to be made on that road. Thanx for the inspiration.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
