Collage

I while ago I did an embroidery challenge and created the background for this.  It was not remarkable but I am not one to waste something.  It wasn't intended for a background but I think it works for this collage.  I covered most of it and that makes it better.  I love the wool fabric base and it will work in my collage book perfectly.

    What curious transaction could this stylish collage depict, I wonder? Trading stamps? Composing music for money? Selling old doilies at the flea market? Or is it gambling?

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
