Oh colour, how I love you

Colour, yummy, yummy colour.  It makes me so happy.  I used Seta Color paints on this and strategically placed some flower shapes on it.  I put it outside to soak up the sunshine and let the paints work their magic.  Shortly thereafter the clouds moved in and the rain started.  Boo!  I am thankful I noticed right away and brought this piece inside.  I placed it under a lamp to dry but it wasn't good enough to make the magic happen.  I was disappointed but I am ever-resourceful and figured out a way to highlight the flowers I wanted to be highlighted.  I added some interference gold paint to the flowers and think it works quite well.  As always, I am looking forward to stitching this one!
