Slow Stitching Sunday


 I have figured out a way to use this piece in my book.  I have added some 'fireflies' to it.  At least the impression of fireflies.  I was hoping that they would seem to glow.  Possibly if I darken the fabric around them I could achieve that effect better.  I am not afraid to add paint to this piece as there is already a lot of paint on it.  I think Inktense blocks will work.

    I am glad you have found a way to include this lovely page into your book. Inktense blocks/pencils always add a touch of beauty to whatever they are added to. Have a lovely week working on your book.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
