Work in Progress Wednesday

 

I love my whimsical bunny even though the ears are not quite the right proportion.  That does bug me a bit but I can get over it.  I added snowflakes to the tree but they are a bit difficult to see.  I may or may not change that.  Leaning towards not changing it.  Overall I really do like this page for my book.  I think my granddaughter will love all the glitzy fabric I have used!

Hi Angela! I think your bunny looks so cute. I am certain that no one critiques a live bunny as closely you are your appliqued one. Real-life is full of imperfections that we readily accept, like eyes that are too close (Ryan Reynolds, for example, even though I think he's a doll!) or uneven ears. {{Hugs}} Plus, I don't think they look uneven - not one bit. ~smile~ Roseanne

Hi Angela, I love your bunny and all of the glitz. I didn't know that there was a proportion to bunny ears....this must be a special kind with different ears! And the snowflakes will have to be discovered...which is part of the fun :-) I love your glitzy page and I'm sure that your granddaughter will too! Take care.

Slow Stitching Sunday

 Working on another wool mandala.  It is a pleasure to have the wool on my lap now that the weather has turned colder.  I started this project back in the summer and didn't enjoy working on it so much then.  I wonder if I can complete this project this winter.  There are fifteen wool mandalas to do.  It doesn't seem likely that I will.  I could be wrong.  I don't want to put any undue pressure on myself.  There is no deadline.  The spring might be cool enough to continue working on it.   My but I do jump into the future.  Slow stitching really helps me to be present.  I am so grateful that stitching is such a balm for my soul.  We all need to have something that does that for us.   I am linking to https://kathysquilts.blogspot.com/
