Finished Mandala




 I did not add a lot of beading and stitching to this mandala.  The pattern I created was enough and only needed to be enhanced.  Having a quick and easy piece to finish was good.  Sometimes that is all my attention span can handle.  I have been flitting from project to project lately. Writing two proposals and taking a writing course have been using up my powers of concentration.

    There are such nice lines for the eye to follow. Beautiful colours, too.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
