Journal Cover


 Rarely have I filled a journal so quickly.  Spending so much time in lockdown I filled one journal in six months.  I was thinking I should add a cover to it to make it more interesting.  It seemed appropriate to use a collection of ribbon that a friend gifted to me.  The ribbons arrived at approximately the same time as I started this journal.  The ribbons are so bright and funky!  Love it!  I have woven them together and now am adding some stitching to hold it all together.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
