Whole Cloth Crazy Quilt


 I haven't made a lot of progress on my whole cloth crazy quilt.  I am still working on attaching the main motif.  I am a little bit regretting using this beautiful silk.  It is flimsy and the tree motif square is a bit stiff.  Not making it easy to get a smooth attachment. I will persevere.

    Yes, silk can be slinky alright! Did you use a stabilizer under it? That would help keep it in line and give it more weight to balance against the other, stiffer fabric. Good luck!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
