Work in Progress Wednesday


 I have adhered this coffee filter mandala to fusible interfacing.  I need to find the right fabric background for it and then I will be ready to stitch.  There is already a lot of detail on this mandala so I will keep the beading and embroidery to a minimum.

    You are right, it is a grand mandala as it is, so keep it simple. Just LOVE the colours.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
