Work in Progress Wednesday


 I have made a wee bit of progress.  Some silk ribbon embroidery on this silk fabric really works for me.  I would like to get out some of the gorgeous silk threads I have been hoarding saving for just the right occasion.

    The background is fantastic in itself, but with the added green silk ribbon embroidery there is more 'life' and depts in the picture.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
