Another Mandala


 I have created over 300 mandalas!  I want to get to 365 for sure.  I have no doubt I will do it.  I can't see myself stopping any time soon.  Why am I so addicted to them?  Let's see, they are so relaxing.  It is a really easy way to let the creativity out.  I feel no compunction to make them perfect.  Playing with colour is delightful.  If I choose a colour combination I don't end up liking, no big deal.  I can put as much or as little time into one as I choose.

I think one attraction is the repeat pattern. You add one bead, and then a bead on the other side of the circle, it's like one decision goes a long way, if you see what I mean.
365 is a good number, you have a Mandala of the Day and can display one every day. You can sort them into seasonal colours or trends.
It is easy to see you are enjoying the creative process.

Slow Stitching Sunday

 Working on another wool mandala.  It is a pleasure to have the wool on my lap now that the weather has turned colder.  I started this project back in the summer and didn't enjoy working on it so much then.  I wonder if I can complete this project this winter.  There are fifteen wool mandalas to do.  It doesn't seem likely that I will.  I could be wrong.  I don't want to put any undue pressure on myself.  There is no deadline.  The spring might be cool enough to continue working on it.   My but I do jump into the future.  Slow stitching really helps me to be present.  I am so grateful that stitching is such a balm for my soul.  We all need to have something that does that for us.   I am linking to https://kathysquilts.blogspot.com/
