Glass Totem

I have had a lot of fun creating glass totems.  Here is another one that I created.  I particularly like the trapped butterfly.  I enclosed it because I had painted it with alcohol ink and I wasn't sure it would stand up to the weather.  My granddaughter wanted to be able to touch it as it sparkles.  Shopping at thrift stores to find the right glass piece is fun for me.  I would love to create more of them but don't know where I would put them.

That's a nice one! It takes the onlooker a bit of time to realise what the totem is made up of.
One thing about having glass ornaments in the garden - should anything break and you have glass in the grass (!) it will be difficult to find and pick up. Please make sure your granddaughter, or pets, are not in danger.
