Slow Stitching Sunday

This encrusted embroidery is such a fun playground!  My aim is to fill it with mainly circular stitches.  Of course, there have to be other stitches that fill in the gaps.  I am hoping to have very little of the base fabric showing.  I am not quite sure how I will accomplish that when I get close to the hoop.  I guess I will figure it out.

May all your holidays be filled with joy!

I made a hoop "picture"once with buttons of various sizes and colours. When I got to the end I used French knots as it was easiest for filling in the tiny spaces close to the hoop.
Great colours in your piece! Lots to look at!

I do love your colour choices.
Hi Angela, I knew that the colourful post was yours :-) I often don't quilt in the hoop, so you might consider taking it out and doing work that won't affect the tension. Have a great holiday season!
