Work in Progress Wednesday


 I was envisioning this mandala being highly textural.  So far that hasn't happened.  I have used rather large pieces and I think they work.  I want some smaller beads on this one now.  It is feeling overly simplistic as it is.  A look through my treasure of beads should yield some inspiration.  Finding something that has long been buried could be the perfect thing.

    I agree, it is nice to add something that has been hidden at the bottom of our stash for a long time.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
