Purple Reign Challenge


 It is finished.  Some french knots were added to complete this mandala.  It feels good to have the challenge finished with a week to spare.  I am not one for leaving things to the last minute.  Early is better for me.

I stitched 200 Swarovski crystals to this piece and that felt royal and extravagant to me!  I am Royal is the title for this mandala.

    The name is definitely fitting with all those crystals sewn on. How beautiful a piece this is.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
