Mandala Monday


 Oh, I like green and pink and purple together.  I love the way the glitter makes this mandala glow.  These collage/mixed media mandalas are not as easy to get right as the other mandalas I have created.  I am up for the challenge though.  Each one I try adds to my experience and knowledge.  I love learning and growing.  I give myself the grace to make bad art knowing even that is good for my soul.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
