Work in Progress Wednesday


 Well, I am not sure this really counts as a work in progress.  It is just a journal page that I have been playing with.  It doesn't look like much at this point and maybe it never will.  That's okay, I am enjoying playing with gouache and metallic watercolours.

The sun is shining and it is a gorgeous day.  So I must get out there and do some stitching.  The weather is supposed to turn much colder tomorrow so I better make the most of this glorious day!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
