Work in Progress Wednesday


 I have added more beetle wings to this floofy book page.  There had been only one and it didn't look right.  I am not sure if I made it better by adding more!  Possibly I will take them all off.  I really didn't want this to turn into a 'project' where the outcome was so important.  I can't seem to help myself.  I do like the rest of it though.

    If you haven't done anything to it yet, why not leave it until you return from your holiday? While away the solution might have formed by itself.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
