Work in Progress Wednesday


 I think this piece is finished now.  It doesn't look remarkably different from the last time I posted about it.  I have stitched down some of the folds so it isn't so poofy.  I think it is an interesting piece and I enjoyed working on it.  I don't know where it is going to live though.  It could eventually become a box or book cover I suppose.  It is okay with me if it sits quietly waiting for the right thing.

I think it is a fabulous piece of art and powerful enough to be seen from a distance. Wouldn't it look great on a wall, just as it is, maybe with a simple frame.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
