Slow Stitching Sunday
I took my scrappy scroll pages along on our holiday. I did not do much stitching but I was glad I brought it along. I forced myself to spend some time looking out the window on our drive. Driving through the mountainous area was beautiful but also terrifying to me. On the return drive, I just buried my head into my stitching. I was so much more relaxed!
There is still loads more to do on these little pages. I have to remember to leave space at the top and bottom for the seams. I bought some beads while in Sedona and it feels like an appropriate idea to use some of them on these pieces. I will save that for the end though.
I am glad to be linking up with

I am caught up on your posts, Angela. These fabric collage pieces of yours are so wonderful and interesting. I wish I had the creativity to make them too. I get stymied when I have to make a decision on my own. Enjoy your process which I'm sure you are doing.
ReplyDeleteI buried myself in my stitching as we were driving through LA and on the Grapevine last week. It is too scary otherwise!
ReplyDeleteThere are some sights that I love to look at in a car, but mountain roads are not one of them. I would have buried my head in a craft or a book also. Those pages are pretty.
ReplyDeleteDriving through mountainous roads with all the bends can be scary. I hope you had a lovely vacation. How nice you were able to play with your scrappy scrolls along the way.
