Slow Stitching Sunday


 Here are two more of my little scroll pages.  They each have a piece of the same silk on them.  I like to have some continuity.  I will space these pages apart when I sew them together into the scroll though.  I haven't made a lot of stitching progress on these but some is better than nothing.

    I like the idea of the same fabric being used in different pages/blocks. It can become a game of 'I Spy a ...' that even small children can take part in.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
