Work in Progress Wednesday


 I did this in one of my journals.  I really like it and I think I will do something similar on fabric.  I think it will be fun to stitch into.  Doing it now will give the oil pastel time to cure before I am ready to stitch it. I treated myself to some new pastels recently so it will be fun play with them!  

It is a gorgeous sunny day so out to the deck I go with my pastels and fabric!

    How does the oil in the paint react to the sun? Does it dry or melt?

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
