Work in Progress Wednesday


 I like the way this scroll is coming along.  Photographing the whole length in one shot is pretty much impossible.  You get the idea.  I feel like the mandalas are getting lost on it though.  I need to do something to punch them up a bit.  I am always up for a challenge!

    I wouldn't say the Mandalas are lost, but hidden. You need to LOOK to see them. That is a kind of meditative journey for the eyes to take.
    I like the aqua ribbons that connect the blocks. They also help the eye travel from one block to another.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
