Slow Stitching Sunday

I love stitching into wool.  I do not love how much dog hair sticks to the wool!  Why do I never think of looking for it before taking a photo?  I know there will be some!

This is a good start to another mandala.  The centrepiece is a laser-cut wood piece that I have painted.  I have added the chain stitch.  I have also picked out some beads that will work nicely.  Now that the holidays are over I will get back to more stitching.

I am heading out to my yoga class shortly.  Looking forward to it!  Also looking forward to doing some stitching this afternoon.  I will put on a pot of chilli and enjoy watching the big snowflakes come down while staying warm inside and stitching.  Grandchildren will join us for supper.  Such a lovely day!

  2. Chili sounds good to me today, too, although I don't have the ingredients! Your new mandala is a beautiful color. Enjoy your stitching, Angela!

  3. Your Sunday sounds lovely. Wool is a magnet for animal hair and everything else. =) Enjoy your day.

  4. Back to normal life. Isn't it nice?
Your new Mandala has started taking shape. Don't worry about the dog hair - they will soon blend into the stitching!
