Work in Progress Wednesday

 


I don't post about my journals very often.  But I had to show off this pop-up page!  I love the way it turned out.  I saw the idea on Pinterest and had to give it a try.  My niece and I worked our way through it the last time she was here.  I love pop-ups and have a large collection of pop-up books.  My grandchildren enjoy looking through them and reading them.  Fun!

I have added the word joy throughout the page but it is a bit hard to see that.  This journal page feels like an explosion of joy to me.  Let's have more joy in this world!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
