altered book








These pictures are from an altered book about mothering. The book is/was Chicken Soup for the Mother's soul. I thought it was appropriate to use for the topic. One of my clever sons cut the book into a heart shape for me. Isn't it cool?

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
