I had a great day



I was thinking I haven\t posted a free kaleidoscope for a while.  So here it is.  Enjoy.  I've had two cool ideas as to how to use these kaleidoscopes.  One idea involves paper and the other idea uses fabric of course.  I will post the paper idea tomorrow hopefully.  The fabric idea will take a bit more time but stay tuned.
In regards to why my day was so good.  Well, I had the two new ideas for the kaleidoscopes.  Plus,  I found some lutrador material for really cheap today.  I read on one of my yahoo groups that lutrador is the same stuff that is used on the bottom of couches or box spring mattresses.  So I took a look for it at a local shop and they carry it for $0.89 a yard!  Can you believe that?  Now I can't wait to play with it and see what I can create!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
