Journal cover

I really like this journal cover.  I think it's quite pretty.  I used interference paint on the diagonal rectangle.  You can see how it shimmers a nice green color.  It shows up better in this picture than in the nature print photo in the last  post.  Interference paint works best on a dark background.  Do try it.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
