Slow Stitching Sunday
I am still working away at attaching my circles to this piece. I have added some other stitching as well. I am very keen to add some beading to this one but that must wait. Beading needs to be the last step. I don't need the frustration of my threads getting snagged on the beads. Progress can feel oh so slow. Especially when it is because I am distracted by other projects! I am linking to https://kathysquilts.blogspot.com/
Your book is gorgeous! What a fabulous idea. I had never heard the term abecedary before. Congratulations on your 100 posts.
ReplyDeleteHow gorgeous ! I can't wait to see what else you do, you are getting alot done considering the holidays are so near! Wishing I was getting this much done. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteThe pages are really pretty Angie. Are you using a stamp for the letters? I like all the lace you are including and the puppies are adorable. What kind of paper are you using for the background?
ReplyDeleteYes, I am using a stamp set for the letters. On this page I used a piece of glossy paper that I applied a wax paper resist to and then inked. Or do you mean the plain beige cardstock that runs behind the lace? The lace runs between two layers on all the pages. It is actually what I used to 'bind' all the pages together.
