More Journal Spilling pages


My friend Nancy was truly inspired and has continued to work on her journal pages.  Do you recognize the bottom picture?  The start of this page is pictured in my last post.  She did this page in a beautiful journal she commissioned from a local artist.  She will be taking this journal to Fiji, New Zealand and Australia next week.  How I wish I were taking that trip!  Some day I will!

Nancy made a pocket in this same journal from the dyed coffee filter.  Clever use for the filter!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
