a sparkly day

I did not have time for art today but it was a good day nonetheless.  The best part was my dear friend Darlene came for a visit.  We don't get together as often as I would like.  She shared some fabric from her stash with me.  Look at those sparkly stars!  Doesn\t that just make you happy.
Plus it was a good mail day.  Look at the beautiful Kreinik threads that arrived!  I can't wait to stitch with them.
Life is good!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
