transfer foil journal page

I really like the way this page turned out.  I painted it and then stamped a snowflake at the top of the page.  It was stamped with glue and then I applied transfer foil.  I love the transfer foil but it seemed too shiny for the page so I applied a light wash of paint over it.  I really like the way it knocked back the shine but didn't obliterate it.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
