another play day with my friends

Nancy and Mary Lynn came over today for an art play day!  Fun!  It is so good to get together with friends.  Here we are playing with watercolor paints.
We also played with making silk paper.  It was fun to experiment with adding different things.   We added some metallic threads and some metallic confetti.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
